ETS 2010 - Call for Embedded Tutorials

CALL FOR EMBEDDED TUTORIALS

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I am writing you as Embedded Tutorial Chair of ETS’10: the 2010 IEEE European Test Symposium, to be held in Prague (Czech Republic) on May 25-28th, 2010.

ETS is seeking for proposals for 1-hour embedded tutorials on interesting and challenging topics. In particular we would like to get proposals on:

“emerging” topics, i.e., topics that the test community is going to face in the near future
“cross” topics, i.e., topics that, although rather “border line” for the test community, have, or are going to have, a significant impact on our research/development/application/implementation activities
any topic you think could be interesting for ETS attendees.

We would greatly appreciate your proposals on a topic you could cover.

Scope

The IEEE European Test Symposium (ETS) is Europe’s premier forum dedicated to presenting and discussing scientific results, emerging ideas, practical applications, hot topics, and new trends in the area of electronic-based circuit and system testing. In 2010, ETS will take place in Prague, Czech Republic. ETS’10 is being organized by the Czech Technical University in Prague together with Technical University in Liberec, and is sponsored by the Test Technology Technical Council (TTTC) of the IEEE Computer Society. As a new initiative in 2010, a Test Spring School will be organized in conjunction with ETS'10.

Submissions

ETS’10 seeks original, unpublished contributions of the following types:

Scientific papers for the Formal proceedings, presenting novel and complete research work.
Workshop-type papers for the Informal Digest, including ‘emerging ideas’ and ‘case studies’.
Student Forum contributions presenting individual, on-going thesis work both at the Master and at the PhD level. All participants of the Student Forum will take part in a contest and have the opportunity to present their work in front of an expert jury.
Proposals for panels, embedded tutorials, and other special sessions.
‘Vendor Session’ presentations focusing on new features of test related products.

The ETS’10 organizing committee also encourages the organization of fringe meetings and workshops. Details can be found on the ETS`10 web page.
